About us
Come and practise some traditional AIKIDO at the Priory School in Portsmouth Southsea (UK)
Aikido is an efficient martial art for self-defence and personal development
Our sensei is 4th Dan TIAE, 2nd Dan EFA and 1st Dan Aikikai Foundation. He started Aikido in 1982 and practiced at times several other martial arts (Karate, Kendo, Aiki-jujutsu...)
We are affiliated with the TIAE (https://takemusu-iwama-aikido.org/) and we are following both their curriculum and the Aikikai Foundation one.
From the 15/01/2024 we will have 3 classes per week for a complete approach to our art:
- Monday 8 to 9pm: Modern Aikido with a focus on harmony, energy and flow
- Wednesday from 6 to 7:30pm: Traditional Aikido for a focus on efficiency
- Friday from 6 to 7:30pm: Aiki weapons training & enrichment
Prices: £5 per course or £30 per month (2 lessons/week) or £40 per month for all courses (£15 for students)
+ £35 / year for membership and insurance
Open to everybody aged 18 and +
